sensing, meditating and communicating immaterial space and material form.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"text-section txt-columns lpb\"  >\n\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row animation-child-elements animation-bottom\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-lg-12\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The lecture will evolve around chosen work of Guja D\u00f6gg, architect cand.Arch. and writer, with the aim of giving an insight into her interdisciplinary approach to the multi-facetted art of architecture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the short lecture, Guja D\u00f6gg will tell of her ongoing quest for a meaningful architecture, her search for subjective meaning in objective material and her belief that architecture is a poetic expression &#8216;on par&#8217; with literature and other art forms. Shortly after her graduation project <em>Narratives, Continued<\/em> in 1994, she was offered a teaching position in the same school where she was involved in the development of a new department with emphasize on interdisciplinary approach of philopsophy, ideology, poetry and architecture. Six years later she moved back to her native Iceland and has continued to work with this approach within the frame of research and communication of architecture in a wide scope. Apart from a period of six years as the head of the architecture department at the Reykjavik Art Museum, she has mainly been working on a free-lance basis, dividing her time between independent research, artistic creation in local and international context and teaching.
