He received his doctorate in 2008 for a dissertation on musical inter\u00adpretation and contemporary performance practice. In 2009, he became a research fellow at the Orpheus Institute. He is currently also a guest professor at Ingesund School of Music, Karlstad University of Technology, Professor II at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and associate professor at DXARTS, University of Washington.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\" style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00d6stersj\u00f6 is a leading classical guitarist specialising in the performance of contemporary music. As a soloist, chamber musician, sound artist, and improviser, he has released more than thirty CDs and toured Europe, the USA, and Asia. He has collaborated extravaganza with contemporary music.
