It took full responsibility for the company's alleged actions in Namibia, claimed that the company would pay damages and pledge full support to the authorities at home and abroad. A few days later, on May 17, another press release came that it was a work of ideas and performance art by artist ODEE. The work, which was a graduate work for a bachelor's degree in art from the Iceland Academy of the Arts and was shown at a student group exhibition Rafall\/Dynamo at the Reykjav\u00edk Art Museum, attracted enormous attention both at home and abroad.<br \/>\nThe work takes advantage of the methods of culture jamming, where the artist expropriates the variousities of a company in order to project new expressions Subsequently, the company sued ODEE in the High Court of London In the past year, the litigation has been behind the scenes, but at the end of September, the judge will hear the case The lecture will explain the impact of this living work of ideas and performance art, which lives in a social space and is almost at a current level: corporate social responsibility, fake news and freedom of expression.<\/p>\n<p>\/\/<\/p>\n<p>In his lecture, ODEE discuses the performance- and concept artwork \u201eWe're SORRY,\u201c commonly known as \u201c The collective performance in Iceland. On May 11, 2023, foreign media received a press release with a fake pharmacy from Samherji, from the domain samherji.co.uk, taking full responsibility for allied illegal activity in Namibia. On May 17, another press release revealed that it was a conceptual and performance artwork by ODEE, a graduation project for a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Iceland University of the Arts, expanded at the Rafall\/Dynamo g show at the Art Museum The working projects to Reykjav\u00edk's research programs.<\/p>\n<p>Following this, Samherji sued ODEE in the London High Court. Over the past year, the legal proceedings have been ongoing behind the scenes, but a judge will hear the case in late September.
