David L. Anderson II is a distinguished gospel music director, producer, composer, and arranger known for shaping powerful live worship and gospel performance experiences. For more than two decades, he has served as Director of Music at New Jerusalem Impact Church, leading a dynamic music and arts ministry for a congregation of more than 2,500 while training and directing choirs, vocalists, and musicians. His work in gospel performance has reached national stages, including directing vocals for the live pre-game presentation of "America the Beautiful" at Super Bowl XLIV alongside Queen Latifah. Anderson has also brought gospel excellence to international audiences, including performing with Grammy-winning artist Carin León at the 2024 Latin Grammys, where he prepared and arranged vocals for the televised performance. In 2025, he performed in A Grammys Celebration of Latin Music with Jon Secada, a Grammy Award–winning and Latin Grammy–winning artist known for multiple Billboard chart-topping hits. Throughout his career, Anderson has composed and directed gospel recordings and live projects for prominent faith-based artists and ministries, including Bishop Paul S. Morton and New Birth.
