A new multipurpose design system for signs in swimming pools. In my BA thesis  

I studied the use of signs in the Reykjavík Swimming Pool and discovered how flawed the signs used today are. The signs are often illegible and there are often many different examples of design in progress. The system is designed to be able to create all the different information signs that swimming pools need. It uses the height of the font to create a frame where all the necessary information can be arranged on the signs in an organized manner. In addition, I designed a logo for the system to ensure a uniform and coherent appearance.

A modular design system for signage in swimming pools. In my BA thesis, I researched the use of signage in Sundhöll Reykjavíkur and discovered how flawed the current signage system is. The signs are often difficult to read, and the swimming pool has several different design styles. The system I have designed accommodates all the different signage needed in swimming pools. It uses the height of the typeface to create a grid that allows necessary information to be placed neatly. In addition, I designed pictograms for the system to ensure a cohesive and unified visual identity.
