Eva María Árnadóttir holds a BA degree in Fashion Design from the Iceland Academy of the Arts and a MSc degree in Business Management from Stockholm School of Economics. Eva María has taught at the Programme of Fashion Design, intermittently since 2011 and now acts as Programme Director in the absence of Katrín María Káradóttir. She also holds a half position as Project Manager for the Department as well as heading the Association of IAA Alumni. In her research, Eva María has focused on decreasing the environmental impact of the fashion industry and improved working conditions in garment factories. In addition to her work for the IAA, Eva has worked in the fashion industry both here in Iceland and abroad, for outdooring labels, high fashion houses and slow fashion labels.
