Intensive workshop Traditions and Innovation was organized and supported by Cirrus/Nordplus in cooperation with Estonia Academy of Arts, Iceland Academy of the Arts and University of Lapland. The overall theme of the three workshops was animal waste.
In Finland the focus was on the reindeer in Lappish culture, in Estonia it was on parchment and in Iceland it was on the Icelandic horse. Each workshop consisted of lectures, visits to local farms, museums, and producers as well as group works with final presentations.
