Centre for Research in Music (CRiM) in collaboration with the concert series Hljóðön welcomes composer Bryn Harrison
Bryn Harrison will discuss aspects of time, memory and repetition in his recent compositional output, drawing in particular on works such as Vessels (2012), Receiving the Approaching Memory (2014) and the recent Piano Quintet (2017). He will demonstrate his approach to cyclical pitch structures and illustrate how these have been applied to works of extended duration.
