Fraser Muggeridge has been hired as a three-year guest professor in visual communication in the Department of Design at Iceland University of the Arts. 
 
Fraser is a respected graphic designer, teacher and researcher, and has lead a London-based design studio since 2001. 
 
With an emphasis and specialism in typography, he has worked in all areas of the discipline: book design, editorial, branding, music, TV commercials, moving graphics and exhibition design. Clients include: Tate Gallery, The New York Times and Dhaka Art Summit, among others. He has worked with noteable artists such as Anish Kapoor, Jeremy Deller, Fiona Banner and Laure Prouvost. He has also worked in the music industry with atists such as Taylor Swift, Hot Chip, Orbitat and John Grant. 
 
Fraser has extensive teaching experience and over the past 15 years taught courses and workshops in many of the most well known schools of design in Europe: University of Reading, Royal College of Art, Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig, Werkplaats Typographie, Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK), Elisava and Konstfack.
 
In 2010, Fraser founded Typography Summer School as an independent research project in type design with yearly courses in both New York and London. 
 
Fraser completed a practice-based PhD at RMIT (Australia) in 2021.
