Sahar Ghaderi is an architect Ph.D. with an extensive experience in architectural firms in Iceland, France, and Iran and has been in charge of many projects focalizing on architecture, urbanism, landscape, and cultural heritage. Her works are characterized by research-based design, interaction, and communication in a multidisciplinary and international environment. 
 
Current research of Sahar emphasizes the use of Infrastructure of information and data processing in architectural and urban projects. She has been involved in many collaborative projects dealing with cultural heritage and artificial intelligence.  
 
In the past years, Sahar has been active in architectural and urban planning competitions in Iceland and has received awards for the design of The Governmental Quarter of Iceland, Stöng Ruins in Þjórsárdalur, and the City Line Stations of Reykjavik. 
 
​Sahar Ghaderi holds a Ph.D. in Architecture, Archaeology, and Computer Science from Paris Diderot University- Paris Sorbonne Cité under the supervision of Professor Jean-Pierre Vallat and Professor Olivier Bouet (2014), a Master in Architecture from École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture Paris -Val de Seine (2010), and a Research Master  “City, Architecture, and Cultural Heritage”  from Paris Diderot University (2009).
