Anna María is a licenced architect wich focus on architecture as cultural and critical practice. She operates at the interface of architecture, art and urban culture and works with transformation, heritage and media as a creative force in architecture. Anna María channels her work and research across different mediums and in traditional as well as non-traditional platforms.
She is the founder of ÚRBANISTAN that works and consults on a variety of projects that involve spatial, strategic and urban design, as well as research, publication and curatorial practices.
Anna María holds an M. Arch. from Columbia University and an M.A. in cultural studies. She also holds an M.Sc. in design, media and communication from Copenhagen IT University.
