The Performing Arts department welcomes to the team Eleonora Batista Fabiao & Kevin Kuhlke.
 
They will act as guest professors and artistic counsellors for the Acting programme and will be visiting the school once a year during the next three years.
 
Eleonora Batista Fabiao is a performer, performance theorist and professor at the undergraduate course in Theatre Directing and postgraduate studies in Scene Arts at the School of Communication at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). The themes she mainly works with are performance art, performance studies, street performance, body dramaturgies, contemporary experimental dramaturgy, theatrical direction and acting. 
Her contribution to the acting programme will be to introduce and work with post dramatic acting methods.
 
Kevin Kuhlke is an Arts Professor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts' Department of Drama, specializing in acting (advanced scene study), directing, improvisation and physical theatre. His research interests lie primarily in devising original theatre pieces based on texts from cultural studies, primarily philosophy, psychology and sociology; Interfacing Viewpoints Theory with Stanislavski, Grotowski and Brecht. Kevin's contribution to the acting programme will be mentoring and working in depth on different acting methods and approaches.
