Í fyrirlestri sínum mun ítalski listamaðurinn Angelo Sturiale kynna nýjustu verk sín og leiða áheyrendur inn í heillandi heim listrannsókna sinna sem tengjast tónlist, myndlist, hreyfingu og ljóðlist.
Angelo Sturiale er ítalskur fjöllistamaður. Eftir útskrift úr tónlist og hugvísindum hefur Sturiale ferðast víða og starfað í fjölda löndum í boði ýmissa stofanna. Hann er gestaprófessor í tónfræðum, tónsmíðum og spuna við Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Mexíkó) þar sem hann hefur verið deildarstjóri tónlistarframleiðslu. Myndlist hans hefur verið sýnd á Ítalíu, Mexíkó og Bandaríkjunum. 2011 stofnaði hann Seibutsu Art Studio, vinnustofu sem snýr að listrænni vinnu og kynningu á nótnaskrift hans og grafískri vinnu. Árið 2014 gaf hann út „Tempeste di Te“ og 2016 kemur bókin Catalogo d’Amore, koma út eftir hann.

Transversal music
In this talk, the Italian artist Angelo Sturiale will present some of his last works as well as introduce his challenging artistic research through a fascinating trans-disciplinary adventure through music, visual art, movement and poetry.
Angelo Sturiale is an Italian multidisciplinary artist. After graduating in music and humanities, he began to travel and live in different countries, supported by international institutions founding his artistic research. He is visiting professor of Music Theory, Composition and Improvisation at Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Mexico) where he has been Head of Faculty of Music Production. His visual artworks have been exhibited in Italy, Mexico and USA. In 2011 he founded the Seibutsu Art Studio, atelier of creation and promotion of his music notations and graphic work. In 2014 he published “Tempeste di Te” and in 2016 it will be released his brand-new book “Catalogo d’Amore”.
