In the fall of 2024, a new master in design will be launched at the Iceland University of the Arts called Master Design & New Environments. The Master Design & New Environments at the Iceland University of the Arts invites students to an exciting hybrid programme composed of design, media, and environmental studies. During a two-year course, students are supported to develop research skills and creative projects carried out individually and in teams.

The MArch, Master of Architecture programme at the Iceland University of the Arts was launched in the fall of 2021. This is the first time that architecture is taught on a master’s level in Iceland, and so, the first time that students of architecture can fully graduates as architects in an Icelandic University.
