Anna Dröfn Ágústsdóttir has been employed as Adjunct Professor and Programme Director for Theory of B.A. study programmes in Department of Design and Architecture, as of spring 2016.
 
Anna Dröfn holds an MA degree in both History and Applied Studies in Culture and Communication (Hagnýt menningarmiðlun) from the University of Iceland. Anna Dröfn has taught research methodology, thesis writing and academic practices at LHÍ from 2014 as well as overseeing different theory courses. Among the fields of research Anna Dröfn focuses on are urban development, planning and architecture in Reykjavík. 2013 saw the publishing of the book Reykjavík sem ekki varð, written by Anna Dröfn together with architect Guðni Valberg.
