Truth Current: If I Were a Pond, You Would Be the Ocean

Video – 7 min
Floating, we are at one with the outer sea: I am a unique – powerful current that dissolves in the vortex. The space within me, between what I think of as myself and what is also a part of me is, at the same time, as distant as the sea, and yet closer than my own skin.

Everything flows through me and is for a moment what I call me. Here, water seeps between bodies. The water comes from bodies that are beyond us, former bodies and future bodies. The idea of the self begins to dissolve as soon as we open to the beauty of dilution.

As it appears in the philosopher Astrida Neimanis text Hydrofeminism: Or, On Becoming a Body of Water.
