Withering
My collection is centred around the mistakes and imperfections in everyday objects, and how imperfect clothing is something that is desirable instead of being shied away from. Imperfections are a part of nature, everything ages and wears away. I wield time as a tool and show the beauty in its effects on fabric through the methods I have developed. The idea is to show that a garment worn to the end of its lifespan can end up being more desirable than the original garment. I designed familiar pieces of clothing or silhouettes so that people can relate to the garments, demonstrating that something bland can become something beautiful when worn to its end.
