Creative industries as a driving force in rural areas: The intersection of culture, creativity and entrepreneurship

The first international conference organized by the Research Center for the Creative Arts (RSG) will be held in Edda, the Icelandic House, on Friday, May 30, 2025. It will discuss the impact of culture and creative industries on social and economic innovation in rural areas. It will shed light on the importance of entrepreneurs and local development in promoting sustainability and resilience in peripheral areas.

RSG is organizing the conference in collaboration with the Árna Institute and the research project IN SITU, which is funded by Horizon Europe and focuses on the impact of culture and creative industries on regional innovation in rural areas.
