Milking man
Breastfeeding is considered normal, natural and even a sacred symbol of women. There is social pressure put on women to produce breastmilk at childbirth. Men can lactate and have all the anatomy to do so. There are stories of men who have breastfed. What is needed is to activate the function of the nipple. This work stands to provoke a discussion on whether it is necessary to activate the nipples. What does this mean for queer parenting? How would societies experience gender roles differently? How would the world view change if all genders could breastfeed?
