“Sleep is for wimps,“ said Margaret Thatcher once. Many have pointed out how very wrong she was. Though sleep is actually very diverse it has not been widely discussed while physical exercise and dieting are frequently in the spotlight. With the project Sleep Pattern, sleep is promoted while the questions what is sleep and what does it do for us are asked. At the core the blanket is the same, though every blanket has a different pattern, a different movement. Sleep can be connected to happiness, peacefulness and well-being and at the same time it has a uniquely personal beauty and tranquillity; sleeping patterns are as diverse as we are.
