House full at University Day at LHÍ

There was a real festive atmosphere in the premises of the Iceland Academy of the Arts in Stakkahlíðinn last Saturday on the occasion of University Day in Reykjavík. Students and staff of the school welcomed around 600 interested guests who learned about the educational offerings. The student workspaces and workshops of the building were also open to visitors, where student projects were on display and representatives of the study programs sat in on questions and gave presentations about their activities.

The program was packed with activities, with the music department providing live music throughout the day, art students putting on an exhibition of recent student work, and the film department offering popcorn and a film screening, to name a few. Guests were also able to enjoy freshly baked waffles and coffee.
