Fashion design students showed their final projects in a packed Flói [Photos]

There was considerable anticipation in Harpa when the fashion show by graduates of the Iceland Academy of the Arts' fashion design program took place in Flói on Friday. The interest was so great that fewer people came than wanted, as it was one of the highlights of the Academy of the Arts' graduation ceremony.

At the exhibition, fashion design students presented their final projects, which are individual projects based on free research, design and production of an entire clothing line under the guidance of instructors. The projects reflected a diverse approach, personal research and a strong professional vision of each designer.

This time, ten fashion designers will graduate from the program:

The fashion show is part of the larger program of the Iceland Academy of the Arts' graduation ceremony, where the work of design and fine art students is given a well-deserved space. The BA students' graduation projects will later be on display at an extensive graduation exhibition in Hafnarhús, which opens on May 9.
