What´s the matter?

First year students of product design at the Iceland University of the Arts answer open an exhibition in Bakland, in Laugarnes on Friday, 9th of December, between 5 and 7 p.m. There, they invite guests into their creative process of this semester, a result of the course; Creative Process Methodology.
In this past semester students have followed the design process with curiosity and experiments. In this exhibition 10 projects are exhibited that all started from the same starting point but have very different outcomes where material research has developed into a story.
The group also worked together on a project in collaboration with Reykjavík Forestry Association in Heiðmörk where they researched forest culture, experiences of being in a forest and the material world within the forest.
The students warmly welcome you to the Heiðmörk Christmas Market on Saturday, 10th of December at 13:00 where a new experience for visitors passing through Heiðmörk will be officially opened. We meet outside the Forestry Association's building and students lead us to a exciting destination.
