Solo Show: Katla Rúnarsdóttir

Katla will open a solo exhibition in Kubburinn at the Department of Fine Art, Laugarnesvegur 91 on 22. November at 5pm. The exhibition is a part of a series of solo shows by 3^rd year students in Fine Art.

Just like everbody else is doing

Thirteen ceramic sculptures together in one Cube. Gvendur is a good friend of Lárus the physician, they are phrase geniuses. Gvendur´s most known phrase is the one he uses when people tell him about new things in their lives, he says: “Yeah right, thats just like everybody else is doing."

From October 4^th to November 29^th a series of 24 solo shows by 3^rd year students in Fine Art will be taking place in Laugarnes.

Each Thursday, solo exhibitions will be opened at three different locations in Laugarnes: Navel, in the middle of the building, The Cube on 2^nd floor and Hulduland which is located on the north side of the building. Openings are from 17:00 - 19:00. The student's solo shows are a part of the seminar Professor's workshops in the supervision of Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir accompanied by teachers Unnar Örn and Sindri Leifsson.
