Solo Show: Hólmfríður Guðmundsdóttir

Hólmfríður Guðmundsdóttir will open a solo exhibition in Kubburinn at the Department of Fine Art, Laugarnesvegur 91 on October 15th 2020 at 5pm. The exhibition is a part of a series of solo shows by 3^rd year BA students in Fine Art.

Litróf

The Exhibition Litróf is an answer to continuos questions about Hólmfríður color deficiency, a very popular question for colorblind people. The Show is set up as an simplification on a very complicated biological phenomenon, now in an artistic set up. Color is presented in a new system designed by the artist. If the importance of color plays a big role in perceiveing our enviroment are the colorblind missing out?

From October 1^st to November 26^th a series of 26 solo shows by 3^rd year students in Fine Art will be taking place in Laugarnes.

Each thursday a solo exhibition will be opened at three different locations in Laugarnes: The Cube on 2nd floor, Navel in the middle of the building on first floor and Hulduland on the north side of the building on first floor. Openings are from 17:00 - 19:00 on Thursdays.
