Harpa Dís Hákonardóttir will open a solo exhibition in Hulduland at the Department of Fine Art, Laugarnesvegur 91 on 11th of October at 5pm. The exhibition is a part of a series of solo shows by 3rd year students in Fine Art.

Cavity is a sculptural installation that deals with space and spacial awareness. Everything is turned upside down, the vegetable garden, oblong and positive is transfered into the negative space. The work is a memory that took place, one footstep again and again, fixed in time and appears now in  a physical meaning.

From October 4th to November 29th a series of 24 solo shows by 3rd year students in Fine Art will be taking place in Laugarnes.

Each Thursday, solo exhibitions will be opened at three different locations in Laugarnes: Navel, in the middle of the building, The Cube on 2nd floor and Hulduland which is located on the north side of the building. Openings are from 17:00 - 19:00. The student's solo shows are a part of the seminar Professor's workshops in the supervision of Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir accompanied by teachers Unnar Örn and Sindri Leifsson.
