Solo Show: Anna Margrét Ólafsdóttir

Anna Margrét will open a solo exhibition in Kubburinn at the Department of Fine Art, Laugarnesvegur 91 on the 28^th of November at 5pm. The exhibition is a part of a series of solo shows by 3rd year students in Fine Art.

48 HOURS BEFORE THE SHOW WE WILL CLOSE OURSELVES OFF INSIDE THE GALLERY SPACE.

WE WILL USE VARIOUS METHODS AND IMPROVISATION TO PRODUCE MATERIAL.

WE WILL PROCESS THE MATERIAL IN THE LAST HOURS OF OUR STAY.

THE PROCESS ENDS WHEN THE AUDIENCE ENTER THE SPACE.

THE PIECE WILL THEN BE READY.

From October 4th to November 29th a series of 24 solo shows by 3rd year students in Fine Art will be taking place in Laugarnes.

Each Thursday, solo exhibitions will be opened at three different locations in Laugarnes: Navel, in the middle of the building, The Cube on 2nd floor and Hulduland which is located on the north side of the building. Openings are from 17:00 - 19:00. The student's solo shows are a part of the seminar Professor's workshops in the supervision of Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir accompanied by teachers Unnar Örn and Sindri Leifsson.
