On Wednesday November 16th at 12:15 Hlín Helga Guðlaugsdóttir gives the lecture TEACHING: THE CRAZIEST FORM OF ART* as part of SNEIÐMYND, lecture series by The Department of Design and Architecture at Iceland Academy of the Arts. The lecture takes place in lecture room A at Þverholt 11.

Hlín Helga is a designer and a future visionary, specialised in experience- and community-oriented design. In recent years Hlín has taught design at Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary cooperation and future visions at the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship. 

Hlín Helga is now an Adjunct at the MA Design programme at Iceland Academy of the Arts, as well as  working as an independent curator, designer and consultant. 

Hlín has curated the Design Talks, a lecture day held by the Icelandic Design Centre, since 2013 and curated exhibitions on behalf of the Icelandic Museum of Design, Icelandic Design Centre and Design Forum Finland. She has also managed design projects and held workshops at Parsons in New York, National Institute of Design of India and PolyU Hong Kong to name a few.

In her lecture Hlín Helga will introduce her own work with a starting point in the words of artist Magnús Pálsson that teaching is the craziest form of art.
