Panel discussion - "What can a festival do?"

On Friday the 18th of November the Department of Performing Arts at IUA in collaboration with Reykjavík Dance Festival will host a symposium about the possibilities and powers of festivals.

During the discussion panel we will hear from the following speakers:

Vigdís Jakobsdóttir, Artistic Director of Reykjavík Arts Festival

María Rut Reynisdóttir, Head of the cultural office of Reykjavíkurborg

Ásgerður Gunnarsdóttir and Alexander Roberts, former Artistic Directors of Reykjavík Dance Festival

Jóhanna Ásgeirsdóttir, Artistic Director of Art without Borders

Karl Taylor, Associate Producer for Take Me Somewhere Festival in Glasgow, Scotland

The symposium will take place in the Black box in IUA Laugarnesvegur 91 and is free of charge.
