MA Graduates 2023 are:
Through their works they strive to stretch the boundaries a little further: the boundaries of behavior, personal space, experience and emotions. Boundaries of care, assigned roles and the coexistence of man and nature. The limits of how far we can think beyond time and within ourselves. The artists draw on threads from recent solo exhibitions that take on new forms in a different context.
There is always chaos around us. Not just some insignificant hum, but an electrifying thrill that affects bodies and demands attention. Today, it is more and more important to keep threads moving forward: prioritize, filter out, find order in the disorder, meaning in the tremors, reorganize—or simply look away. The graduation exhibition takes place in a time where action meets numbness and taking a stand meets escape. With the works, the artists explore ways through these poles and respond to their environment and context, each in their own way, with works that call for reaction and sensitivity.
The exhibition runs until June 4 and is open Wednesday-Sunday from 12–18.
