On Friday, 7th of December at 13.00 Kriðpleir Theatre Group will be present and presented at the lecture hall at the Iceland University of the Arts at Laugarnesvegur 91.

Kriðpleir Theatre Group have had a great success recently for their original, funny yet personal approach to their subjects. They have put on five shows: The Block (2012), Tiny Guy (2013), Belated Inquiry (2014), Crisis Meeting (2015) and Somebody’s Biography (2016). Furthermore, The Icelandic National Broadcast Service aired their radio play A Trip to Bónus on channel 1. The group has received four nominations for Gríman. Their work has been shown in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Ireland.

Kriðpleir Theatre Group is comprised of Bjarni Jónsson, poet and translator, Árni Vilhjálmsson musical- and theatrical artist, Friðgeir Einarsson and Ragnar Ísleifur Bragason, the last two of whom studied performance making at the IUA.

Open lectures in Laugarnes will take place in the fall of 2018, hosted by Departments of Art Education, Fine Art and Performing Arts.
