Lunch lecture

Gustavo Sagorsky is a photographer, artist and educator. He is visiting the Iceland University of the Arts through Erasmus+ and will be giving a lecture at the Department of Design and Architecture, Tuesday the 3d of September at 12:15 in lecture hall A.
 
Born in Argentina, he lives and works in Jerusalem and teaches at the photography department at Bezalel Academy of Art. His work has been shown in over fifteen solo exhibitions. He has been invited to give workshops, seminars and tutorials by international institutions including the Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C., Glasgow School of Art; UArts Philadelphia; Ecole de Beaux Art; Villa Arson, Nice, France and others.
 
In his lecture, Sagorsky will discuss the act of photography as a tool to connect and deal with the reality of daily life, both in the family environment and beyond.
 
The lecture will be given in English and all are welcome.
