Thora Karlsdottir is an Icelandic multidisciplinary artist currently based in Reykjavik. During her 20 years living in various European countries, she studied Fine Arts in Luxembourg and Germany. Inner passion is the source of her artistic drive, and she burns for the subjects she reflects on. The research process is both internal and external, and it leads her in many directions in search of the core. Thora has been active internationally in her art practice and has held solo and group exhibitions in museums and galleries. She is a collaborator and entrepreneur, fostering opportunities for herself and other international artists via residencies, galleries, and collectives.
