By contributing to the project Þerney Resort you implicitly take some responsibility for the animals owned by the municipality of Reykjavík. Thereby you drive to increase their quality of life, just as you do for your pet at home. All proceeds from the project will go into building a unique playground for farm animals. A playground where they can enjoy the vacation they deserve. Þerney Resort is a project that focuses on animal rights, and how humans have different attitudes towards animals that can be seen in the varied way we treat them. Animal husbandry has followed mankind for many millennia and their contribution to human culture has been a major factor in human evolution.
