Don't fall asleep on the clock! The application deadline is fast approaching.

The application deadline for most undergraduate and graduate programs is Tuesday, April 8.

Does not apply to MA Design (MADNE), but the application deadline for that program is April 22.   

We would like to point out to applicants that it is possible to apply for studies at the Iceland Academy of the Arts until midnight on April 8th. 

For those study programs that require electronic portfolios, they can be submitted through the Ugla application portal until midnight on April 8th.  

In those study programs where physical portfolios are requested, for example in architecture, will be to return it to the University of the Arts office.   

In design and visual arts, students have the option of submitting their portfolio electronically or in hard copy. If students decide to submit their portfolio in hard copy, they must submit it to the offices of the Academy of the Arts.  

ATH. Applicants must be ready to submit an application on the Ugla application portal and pay an application fee before submitting a physical portfolio. Folders will not be accepted unless an application has been submitted to Ugla and the application fee has been paid. 

Folders for architecture and design are returned to the front desk in Hamar, Stakkahlíð 1 

Folders for art are returned to the front desk in Laugarnes.  

Opening hours for processing at the University of the Arts on April 8th is from 8:00 AM to 16:00 PM  

If applicants cannot make it to the University of the Arts office during opening hours, applicants can go to the nearest post office and mail the folder (it is the date of mailing that counts).
