Skin

For my final collection I focused on the skin and my connection to it. My skin hates being touched but likes to be seen. I started to research textiles for this contradicting mindset. I found that liquid latex produced the perfect outcome for me, it is concealing and see-through, which gave me the perfect textile to proceed with my collection. I wanted another material to give the clothes some depth, so I decided to add leather. The two materials give a skin-like addition whether it is covering or revealing the body. I then added carved copies of all my tattoos to the leather and laser-cut it by following the lines of my own body.
