Many people cherish good memories of Hveragerði and its funfair. The objective of the project is to recreate such memories and create a new destination in Hveragerði. With facilities for circus and stage performers, it is possible to recreate people’s memories of Hveragerði, and boost the municipality through the kind of leisure activity for which it is known. The building is located at the edge of the old Eden site and the theatre, surrounding existing buildings on the site and also establishing a good connection with the planned residential district on the Eden site. Between the buildings flexible outdoor spaces are formed, which will change from season to season. These will be for all to use, and the place will once again become a diverse destination for the townspeople and for visitors.
