Exchange study from IUA

It is clear that those who choose to go on an exchange program have more experience when it comes to applying for graduate studies or other jobs abroad later in life. At the same time, there are increasing demands for experience and participation in international cooperation on the European labor market.

Students at the Academy of the Arts can apply for exchange studies and have them credited as part of their studies. Students in BA programs must have completed at least 60 credits before the exchange study begins, while students in MA programs must have completed at least 30. Please note that it varies by subject whether exchange studies are available and in which semester and/or year. Please consult your department director if you are considering going on an exchange study.

Exchange studies are evaluated for credits as part of the student's degree at the home school. According to Erasmus contracts, exchange students always pay the tuition fees of their home school and not of the host school.

The application deadline for applying for exchange studies in the spring semester is September 15th and for exchange studies in the fall semester/full academic year is February 15th. You can apply to up to three schools.
