Seminal performance artist Franko B invites you to Kolsstaðir residency for a series a performances and installations made by MFA Performing Arts students and other participants of his workshop.

The sharing will take place on Wednesday 3rd May 2017. We begin at 14.00 and run until around 20.00 in the evening.

For those that cannot make it to Kolsstaðir, or those that can but what to continue the conversation, Franko will be giving a talk in the Department of Performing Arts at 12.20 room 525 on 4th May 2017.

For 10 days, Franko has been working with students on body based and relational practices that seek to dissolve time and generate an extreme mode of listening and focus. This coming Wednesday, the workshop participants will present artistic responses to this process and you are invited to share this moment with them. And this coming Thursday, you invited to hear more from Franko B about how he is working and thinking about performance related practices.

To find the residency – which is not registered on the maps – you can follow the road to Fljótstunga and once at this destination drive onto the next farm house along on your right hands side.
