Guðný Ósk gives her graduate concert from the music department of IUA (Iceland University of the Arts) on Friday, May 11th at 8pm. The concert will be held at Salurinn, Kópavogur. Free entrance - everybody welcome.

Singing, dancing and improvisation will be in the forefront and Guðný will talk about the connection between these art forms. During her studies in Creative Music Communication, Guðný has focused on classical singing. She will perform music from different musicals along with music from operas and movies.

Guðný will also talk about the society we live in and how young people can follow their dreams by setting their own, personal goals. Guðný gave work-shops for fourteen young girls at the musical department of Birna Björns' School of Dance.  There the girls studied self empowerment and goal setting. They danced to different kinds of music and had open discussions about that experience as well as studying scenes from musicals that they will perform at Salurinn and thrill the audience.
