Tarinointi is an evening of communal storytelling, combining traditional oral storytelling with visual storytelling through music and film.

Tarinointi is a project born out of collaboration between Reuben Fenemore and three female Finnish filmmakers. A curated series of short films were created based on music written by Reuben, where the filmmakers composed visuals, bringing to life stories, which were inspired by the music. Stories are told to inspire, preserve history and create connections.

So come enjoy a cosy evening of communal storytelling and shared experiences with locals and world citizens alike.

Most importantly, storytelling breaks down borders, nationalities, and prejudices, revealing that in the end we are all human beings, each with a unique story to tell.

Reuben Fenemore is a musician, composer and visual storyteller from Japan, now based in Reykjavik. His work draws upon real life experiences and communicating this through diverse artistic mediums.
