History of Skywriting

Anne Carson and Robert Currie are our guest this week. They will give a lecture on the History of Skywriting, a flexible 47-minute talk that can incorporate music and /or multiple voices sung or spoken.

It was originally performed at the New York Live Ideas Festival in spring 2016 and again at the Whitney Museum, NYC.

Anne Carson is an essayist, translator and dramatist. Born in Ontario in 1950, she has worked most of her life as a classics professor. Robert Currie is a London born artist who works with Anne Carson responding intelligently to spatial challenges.
