Miðvikudaginn 4. maí kl. 12.15 heldur Erik Frandsen erindi um verk arkitektastofunnar Lundgaard & Tranberg í fyrirlestraröð hönnunar- og arkitektúrdeildar Listaháskóla Íslands, GESTAGANGI í Þverholti 11, fyrirlestrarsal A.

Erik Frandsen er arkitekt og meðeigandi Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects en stofan sérhæfir sig í þróun og framkvæmd verkefna á sviði arkitektúrs, borgar- og landslagsskipulags og vöruhönnunar.

Á síðastliðnum 20 árum hefur stofan vakið athygli og hlotið verðlaun fyrir margvísleg verkefni og er í dag ein af virtustu arkitektastofum Danmerkur. Ennfremur hefur stofan lagt sitt af mörkum þegar kemur að rannsóknarverkefnum og tilraunakenndri mannvirkjagerð í samvinnu við leiðandi upplýsingamiðstöðvar, meðal annars varðandi ferla- og vöruþróun í byggingariðnaðnum og sjálfbæran arkitektúr.

2008/ Nýtt leikhús Konunglega danska leikhússins í Kaupmannahöfn.
2011/ Havneholmen-íbúðir og SEB banka og lífeyrissjóð í Kaupmannahöfn.
2013/ Listasafnið í Sorø.

On Wednesday May 4th at 12:15 Erik Frandsen gives a lecture on projects by Lundgaard & Transberg Architects as part of GESTAGANGUR, lecture series by The Department of Design and Architecture at Iceland Academy of the Arts. The lecture takes place in lecture room A at Þverholt 11.

Erik Frandsen is an architect and partner at Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects. The practice specializes in the development and realisation of projects within the fields of architecture, city- and landscape planning, and product design.

For more than 20 years the practice has positioned itself as one of Denmark’s most recognized and award-winning architecture firms by realising construction projects in various fields. Furthermore the practice has regularly contributed to research projects and experimental construction in collaboration with leading information centers, regarding subjects such as process- and product development in the building sector and sustainable housing.
